That itch with kayaks

Image
We had single kayaks for the longest time We always had that itch with kayaks. Kayaks were a big part of our working life in Langkawi many years ago. Back then we were working for a company called Wilderness Center (WC). WC was an outdoor education company and we took kids kayaking around the islands every week. Naturally we fell in love with the water crafts. The picture above was taken possibly in 2017 when we moved house.

Lata Hammer, the trail and waterfall

Image
The trail is clear with waterpipe along the way Once we crossed the bridge, the trail to Lata Hammer is quite straight forward. Going in, keep the river on your right and you will eventually come to the turn off (right). We ventured a bit more further up but after a while, the trail gets a bit too dense and we weren't really there to bushwhack. Its just a 2 days 1 night trip, so taking it easy is what we really wanted.

Camping with Paul & JC; Part 1

Image
On the trail with Paul I recently went camping with Paul of Junglecrafty and JC. JC and myself have known Paul for many years. Probably a good 8 to 9 years old is our friendship. Somehow we got along well, and I dare to say we became good friends. Paul had a popular website ( no longer online) and Youtube channel . Quite a well known chap in the 'bushcraft' community. My old website Sepuhcrafts was still up and active as well during this time.
